RETURNS

 

 

RETURN POLICY:

If you are unhappy with your purchase, you are welcome to return your items for an exchange or store credit only. Items must be in original condition with tags and liners in tact. Store Credits expire within 12 months and can be used on any item(s) on our website.

 

RETURN ELIGIBILITY:

For a return to be accepted, eligible products can be returned within 30 days of the date you ordered providing the product is in original condition. That is, unworn, unmarked, unwashed, odour-free, with all tags and sanitary labels attached, in original packaging. Somerfield Swim reserves the right to refuse a return if it does not meet the conditions outlined above. Please only try on swimwear over your underwear and take care to ensure that the hygiene label stays in place. Under no circumstances will swimwear returns be accepted if our team considers the hygiene label has been removed, tampered with, lifted or reapplied. This policy is strictly enforced to ensure the health and safety of our customers.

 

PROCESSING TIME:

The item(s) must be returned to our warehouse before a store credit or exchange can be issued. Once your return has undergone a quality control check, our returns team will inspect your items and determine whether an exchange or store credit will be offered in accordance with our policy. We will notify you via email once your return has been processed. Please allow 2-3 business days for your return to be processed, but high volume periods, especially around the holidays, could cause delays.

The ability to fulfil exchange requests will be subject to the availability of garments at the time at which the return is received for processing.

 

RETURN SHIPPING FOR THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA:

Somerfield Swim offers easy returns within the United States and Canada. For your convenience, we offer an easy return label service. Via this service, you can send your return back locally to a returns facility in LA, before your return is bulk transferred back to us in Australia. This usually takes around 15 business days and costs $14. The shipping cost of returning item(s) for a store credit or exchange, is not covered or reimbursed by us. 

When you submit a return request, you'll be shown the option to purchase a pre-paid shipping label at a discounted price, or, to pay and organise shipping on your own at your local post office. For your own peace of mind we recommend you carefully repackage your item to avoid any damage during transportation and consider using registered post to track your item. Please retain proof of postage until we have confirmed your return has been received.

 

RETURN SHIPPING FOR REST OF THE WORLD: 

If you are located anywhere else in the world, your return must be sent back at your own accord. The shipping cost of returning item(s) for a store credit or exchange, is not covered or reimbursed by us.  For your own peace of mind we recommend you carefully repackage your item to avoid any damage during transportation and consider using registered post to track your item. Please retain proof of postage until we have confirmed your return has been received.

 

PREPARING YOUR ITEM(S) FOR EXCHANGE:

Great love & care has been taken to ensure your bikini arrives to you immaculately and it must be returned in the same condition, making sure the product is folded neatly in original packaging keeping all labelling flat & undamaged.

 

PROMOTIONAL/SALE ITEMS:

We do not accept returns on products marked with 'Final Sale’, You will see final sale items marked at checkout if  it applies. Items purchased during a storewide sale or with a promotional discount code can be returned for either: 

  • Store credit (for the discounted amount paid); or
  • Exchange for the same item in a different size (even if the price has gone up after the sale); or
  • Exchange for any item in our store of equal/ lesser value, based on the price you paid for the item during the sale. If you exchange for an item of higher value, you will need to pay the difference.

 

INCORRECT OR FAULTY ITEMS:

In the unlikely event that you receive the incorrect item or immediately find a manufacturing fault, please contact returns@somerfieldswim.com with your order number and images of the fault and we will work with you to resolve it as soon as possible. Please note that items which are damaged or as a result of normal wear and tear; by accident; failure to use in accordance with care instructions; or through misuse will not be considered faulty. It is at our team’s discretion to make a final determination regarding the item(s) condition, and we reserve the right to deny any return request based on this determination.
